This is the package for you if you have many large files (audio, video, large format graphics) available for people and you are expecting larger amounts of traffic. Unless you are already established on the internet and know your bandwidth requirements, I recommend that you start with a smaller package and upgrade to a larger package only if there is a need.
The fact is, most people tend to drastically overestimate the amount of space and bandwidth they will need, therefore spending more than they need and unnecessarily reserving large amounts of space that are not used, and therefore wasted. Help me conserve my server resources!
In return, I will work with you by increasing your space and/or bandwidth allowance incrementally as your needs grow - just let me know what you need. Additional space costs $3 per extra 1 GB. Additional bandwidth is $1 per 1 GB.

Seven Steps To An Online Presence . . .
- 1) Design and build your site (or have me do it for you!)
- 2) Reserve your Domain Name if you don't already have one. (I can help you with this too).
- 3) Choose the hosting package that best suits your needs. (I recommend you choose the smallest you think you can get away with at first - you can always upgrade later).
- 4) E-Mail or call me. I will set up your server space upon first month's payment. (I accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Direct Debit, Personal Check or Money Order)
- 5) Point your DNS (Domain Name Server) to my servers. I will provide full instruction on how to do this, or do it for you at no extra charge.
- 6) Upload your site to my servers.
- 7) Welcome to the Internet!

Tech Glossary
In case you are lost on some of the technical terms on this site, here are some of the more important ones
Some Definitions . . .
- Server Space: The amount of space on my server available for your pages and files.
- Monthly Bandwidth: The amount of data permitted to be downloaded from your site by users each calendar month.
- MB, GB: Megabyte, Gigabyte. Measurement of amounts of data, space or bandwidth. 1 MB = 1000 bytes, 1 GB = 1000 MB.
- Subdomain: Additional sites that you are permitted to set up under your main domain name.
- URL: Universal Resource Locator - the "address" of your site, and of each page on your site. E.g., www.k-fold.net
- DNS: Domain Name Server - This is a series of numbers which refers to the server on which a website is located. All website URLs must must be associated with a DNS or the internet will not be able to find them.
- MySQL Database: MySQL is a database program commonly used on websites with large amounts of products to sell or data to share. It enables, for example, onsite search capabilities. It also enables the functioning of blogs.
- FTP: File Transfer Protocol. the means by which your pages and files are transferred to the server.
- HTML: HyperText Markup Language - the "code" with which web pages are written. Find "View Source" of "Page Source" on your browser menus to see what underlies this web page.
- Scripting Languages: Programming languages such as PHP, Perl, Javascript, which permit the enablement of programs within web pages. Examples: music players, searches, popup ads, context sensitive actions. Amazon.com is a good example - ever wondered how they can "customize your shopping experience"?
- Web based E-Mail: The ability to access your e-mail directly online instead of thru a program like Outlook. Especially handy when you are travelling!
- Statistics Features: Data on who and what is using your site. How many page hits, where your site is being accessed from, what links on other sites are being used to get there, and much, much more.
